Billing Registration
Texas workers' compensation insurance carriers or Texas workers' compensation insurance carrier groups are required to register their billing contact information with Verisk. Initial registrations are due by June 13, 2022.
Texas Governmental entities are not required to register.
Verisk prefers that insurance carrier groups register together under one billing address and contact.
Purpose
To collect primary and secondary billing contact information for invoicing of workers' compensation carriers.
Billing
Verisk will bill insurance carriers a percentage of Verisk's total costs based upon historical transaction volume. They will bill each insurance carrier half of their allocation of one-time costs immediately after registration. Insurance carriers will be billed for the remaining half of their one-time costs and the cost of the first year of data collection on or after July 26, 2023, the Texas claim EDI release 3.1.4 implementation date.
